As a Common Biomedical Waste Treatment and Disposal Facility (CBWTDF), our mission is to ensure that healthcare waste is handled with the highest standards of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. Our operations are fully aligned with the Biomedical Waste Management Rules, 2016 and the guidelines of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), ensuring the highest standards of compliance, traceability, and operational excellence.
We provide end-to-end solutions covering scientific collection, safe transportation, efficient treatment, final disposal, and environmentally sound recycling and reuse practices. Our integrated system ensures that waste is not only disposed of securely but also processed in a way that maximizes resource recovery wherever permissible.

Incorporated in 2024, Utkal Envirocare Pvt. Ltd. is Odisha’s premier authorised common biomedical waste treatment facility (CBMWTF). We operate a state-of-the-art treatment plant at Balasore with a capacity of 4.8 tonnes per day, covering 14 districts through a GPS-enabled fleet. Our facility is recognised by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and Odisha SPCB for strict adherence to BMW Rules 2016.
We are more than a waste processor — we are partners to hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres, ensuring that biomedical waste is handled safely, treated scientifically, and where possible, recycled into industrial raw materials. Our circular economy approach has diverted over 1200 tonnes of medical plastic from landfills to recycling units.
